Dr. Judy, born and raised in Nashua, NH, attended the University of Massachusetts-Amherst, receiving a Bachelor of Science in Animal Science in 1989. She then attended the University of Pennsylvania-School of Veterinary Medicine in Philadelphia. She performed an externship at Angell Animal Medical Center in Boston. After earning a VMD (Veterinariae Medicinae Doctoris) in 1994, she returned to her home state of New Hampshire to practice small animal medicine and continues to practice in NH. Interests include patient advocacy, internal medicine/endocrine diseases, ophthalmology, small mammal medicine (rabbits, rodents, guinea pigs) and ultrasound. Dr. Surdam lives in Pembroke, NH, and enjoys spending time with her husband, two sons, a daughter, and four dogs. Hobbies include any outdoor activity, mountain biking (including coaching and racing), hiking, travelling and contributing to the community in various ways.

Dr. Anna Rivard was born and raised in Northern New Jersey. After receiving her bachelor's degree from Rutgers University in NJ, she attended Tufts Veterinary School. After falling in love with New England and meeting her now-husband Brandon, a native New Hampshirite, Anna practiced in a few New England states before settling back in New Hampshire. In her free time, Anna enjoys spending time outdoors, visiting with friends and family, cooking, and photography. She returned to NH to practice mixed and small animal medicine, now focusing on cats and dogs.
